Solace Within’s driven by Robin van Leijen on drums with double bass action. Leon Kloosterman joined forces with Randy to deliver dual-riffage on the guitar; from slow breakdowns to fast solo’s. Jelle teamed up to thicken the low-end on bass while Jozef de Paauw completed the picture and manifests the voice of Solace Within. Though Solace Within doesn’t want to limit itself to any genre, it’s highly influenced by metal-, hard- and emocore.
In May 2010 SolaceWithin released their first demo to buffer the time needed to write, record and present their first EP, planned early 2011. Besides working on their tracklist Solace Within is searching for gigs to do what’s it’s originally created for, to rock the audience’s world on live performances. Solace Within was the first metalband ever to have played in the Escape in Amsterdam. Besides that Solace Within has played in local cafe’s and on festivals.
Solace Within is always focused on moving forward; writing a lot of material, performing live on stage and having fun while doing it!
